European Studies 200: Introduction to European Studies
European Studies 200 provides students with a general historical and theoretical background for the European Studies major. The class will be taught by professors from a variety of academic disciplines and departments (history, political science, philosophy, humanities, and so on) so as to provide a broad exposure to the various disciplinary approaches to the study of Europe. This introduction should give you some idea the complexity and breadth of this multi-faceted field as well as offer you topics, concepts, and methods for more advanced study of European society and culture.
