Biography: Kerry Soper studied art as an undergraduate at Utah State University. He then attended Emory University where he pursued an MA and PhD in American Studies. In addition to teaching in the Humanities program at BYU, he publishes cartoons and short satiric pieces in The Chronicle of Higher Education. His landscape paintings are shown at the Gallery Mar in Park City, Utah.
